Andrew has 20 years of experience in the technology and biotechnology service industries. He is an experienced entrepreneur and leader that has spent his career assisting both startups as well as Fortune 500 companies solve complex resourcing issues. He has mentored and trained many successful people in the services industry.
Cofounding BioBridges in 2005, Andrew was responsible for leading all sales, delivery and engagement functions. Andrew was responsible for conceiving, launching and scaling the company to meet growing client needs. Andrew was also responsible for the day-to-day operations including finance, contracts, HR and marketing. Andrew was successful in growing BioBridges to ~$14 million in revenue in 9 years.
Prior to cofounding BioBridges, Andrew started Bioforce Solutions, a contract services company, in 2000. Andrew successfully transitioned the company's client focus from the financial/IT industry to the biotechnology industry by building and extending the company's delivery capabilities and knowledgebase. Andrew was responsible for driving company value in business development and resourcing roles. Leaving the company in 2004, Andrew had helped bring the organization to ~$4 million in revenue.
Beginning his career at Darwin Partners, an IT contracting firm, Andrew grew Fortune 500 accounts delivering technical resources for large-scale ERP implementations. Andrew was promoted to a leader in business development after 15 months for his success in completing over 100 projects generating roughly ~$2 million in revenue. He led a team of sales people successfully generating millions of dollars in business for the firm.
At NovusLife, Andrew leads business development activities as well as operations for the growing firm. He works with clients as well as consultants to ensure maximum value. He is also chief loud mouth on making sure everyone remembers the company's values and its mission.
Andrew has organized charitable fundraisers for Lupus Association of New England and was a founding member of The Vernon R. Young Family Foundation, which awards scholarships to young scientists in nutritional biochemistry. He volunteers for Birthday Wishes.
Andrew earned a BA in History (cum laude) from Boston College.
Andrew enjoys playing golf (poorly), running and spinning, yoga, and playing complex economic strategy games. Andrew lives in Wellesley with his wife and 2 kids.
